Meet The Doctor
Dr. Pamela Ng
Pediatric Optometry, Ocular Disease, and Comprehensive Eye Care
Dr. Ng is a Southern California native. She attended UC Riverside and was an active member in multiple clubs and communities – one of which was the pre-optometry club. There, she fell in love with a profession that can not only improve someone’s quality of life through better vision, but also participate in preventative medical care through dilated eye exams.
During her optometric externships, she provided care to the Gila River Native American Community at Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital in Arizona where she specialized in pediatric conditions such as strabismus and amblyopia; as well as an abundance of ocular disease. She also provided services in primary care, contact lens, ocular disease, low-vision, vision therapy and pediatrics to primarily low income residents of central Los Angeles at University Eye Center Los Angeles. Dr. Ng was offered an ocular disease residency at the Southern Nevada Veterans hospital where she dove into the nuances of treatment and management of ocular diseases.
Dr. Ng is a board certified optometrist by the National Board of Optometry. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), American Academy of Optometry (AAO), and National Association of Veterans Affairs Optometrist (NAVAO). Dr. Ng has published and presented at the American Academy of Optometry meeting 2019 and the Ocular Disease Symposium at Midwestern University.
Outside of work, Dr. Ng enjoys discovering new restaurants, trying new recipes, and exploring the outdoor wonders of Utah.
